Terms Of Service

If you want to commission me, please read the following lines carefully. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you will not be able to hire me, so please try to solve this before asking for a commission to avoid problems later.

  • Commercial Purposes

    DON’T USE MY WORKS TO MAKE MONEY
    The commissioner is allowed to upload the watermarked picture with proper credit to me (a visible backlink e.g.) to social media sites or homepages. Any activities involving money earned through the artworks directly or indirectly (like selling physical prints or digital copies of any kind, using my artworks for ads…) are not allowed. If you want to use my artworks for commercial purposes, please contact me first.

  • Publishing Artworks

    I SHARE MY ARTWORKS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
    During the process I might stream parts of the painting process via twitch, although there is no guarantee I will. After finishing the artwork I will post it on my various social media feeds (including tumblr, Instagram, Artstation, Facebook, DeviantArt, Reddit and Furaffinity) and on my homepage. If you don’t want your picture to appear in any of the above, please mention that beforehand. If the commission involved drawing your original character, I will link back to you in the description, so please provide the adress you want me to use if needed.

  • Resources

    I USE Third-Party Content
    For some of my works I use free or paid external resources such as textures, brushes and more. Costs for these materials are regularly included in your commission price. In the rare case I need additional resources not calculated into the total yet you will be notified and I’ll ask your permission before any fees apply.

  • Exclusiveness

    For YCH TEMPLATES

    Unless stated otherwise the YCH designs are not being sold exclusively to one person and can be purchased by several people displaying different characters, simultaneously or at different times.

  • Patreon Content

    FOR PAYING PATRONS
    I reserve the right to use the content I created during the commission (including sketches, studies, WIPs and videos) for my non-public Patreon audience (or on similar paid platforms).

  • Clearing

    IN ADVANCE

    For regular commissions payment is due right after approving the final sketch. For sketch commissions full up-front payment is necessary. For YCH commissions payment is due right after your purchase. The currency is Euro and I accept payment through PayPal Invoice. Payment fees are included in the regular price, shipping is not. For prices of 80 € and more partial payments are possible, just contact me on payment plans beforehand if you’re interested.

    Please note: If you’re living in a non-Euro territory, PayPal will charge you a conversion fee (1,8 to 3,3% depending on your territory).

  • Property Rights

    of the commission’s subject

    I am not liable for any copyright or licensing infringements that occur on base of the character I am commissioned to paint. It’s the customer’s responsibility to make sure they either own the character themself or have permission to have it painted in the artwork.
    In case of any issues that come up regarding property rights of a character I’ll do my best to resolve any problems with publishing the artwork in question (taking it down from my galleries or giving the owner rights to post it as well depending on the case). Issues during the creation process can lead to an immediate stop of the commission. Work that has already been done at that point needs to be compensated.

  • Restitution

    ON INDIVIDUAL REVIEW

    Refunds are an item of individual evaluation. If you want to cancel a commission before I started or if I have to cancel a commission myself, you will get a full refund. For any cases beyond this there is no general regulation, please just contact me to evaluate what work has already been done and I’m sure we will come to an agreement to find a fair refund.
